Meet Your Captain

How's it going! My name is Natalio Gomez and I was born and raised in South Florida. I have spent most of my life fishing all over South Florida, Everglades National Park, and learning about these incredible places and fisheries. I personally am an avid fly fisherman and light tackle fisherman on the few days I am not guiding. I am always trying to better myself, my knowledge, and the fisheries that we fish, to be able to provide the best experience to my clients that I possibly can. There is always something to learn & figure out on the water every single day. I have also traveled all over the world backpacking and fishing in places such as Patagonia (South America), Alaska, Central America, the Continental US, Europe and more. Not only is Fishing a lifestyle for me but is truly my passion. I have a true love for the State of Florida, the fish that reside here, and believe strongly in conservation in hopes that the next generation will get to experience what we can now. Being a local and growing up in the area, I naturally spend a lot of time on the water. Through dedication and time, I learned the waters very well and am sure to guarantee not only a fun trip, but a safe one.

What Our Clients Say

If you want to catch fish in South Florida, Captain Natty G is your guy. This past week, he took my Dad and I out on a full-day saltwater fishing trip in Chokoloskee (Everglade National Park) and showed us an experience we will never forget. We caught a ton of fish, including Snook, Trout, Redfish, Goliath Grouper, and more. He is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the delicate Florida marine ecosystem. I would highly recommend Capt. Natty G to anybody considering a charter trip in South Florida.

Captain Nat is one of the most knowledgeable and versatile anglers I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with. He consistently catches and has put me on fish all over Florida, inshore, offshore and freshwater. He is a great teacher so no matter how experienced you are, you will leave a better angler. His best quality is his passion and excitement for everything fishing. I guarantee he will put you on fish and you will leave with a big smile!

What a great experience and guide! He new the lake and had great spots, I would absolutely go back and fish with Nat anytime! We are from Arkansas and never caught a peacock or clown fish. What an amazing fight and beautiful fish. Nat had already went out and caught the bait and was waiting on us at the ramp when we got there. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Captain Nat!!!

Capt. Natalio took my friend and I out of Flamingo for a full day charter to Everglades national park. At the first spot we had a nice red come to the boat first cast, second spot we tripled up on snook, and ended the day with my first tarpon on the fly rod. This will be a day I never forget and Natalio’s knowledge of the park is invaluable. He runs a beautiful 1802 Action Craft with a brand new motor and knows how to put his clients on the fish. We must have boated over 100 snook that day between the three of us. Whether you’re trying to explore Everglades National Park, trying to go inshore fishing in south Florida or interested in catching peacock bass in freshwater...Natty is your go to guide. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!
